A new seminar taught by a successor of Professor Kawabata on History of Economic Thought

The three main activities of the seminar are: 1) reading (mainly in English) literature on the history of economics and the history of economic thought; 2) learning methods of social analysis that make extensive use of programming in light of recent new developments in the humanities and social sciences, such as Digital Humanities (DH); 3) developing a variety of methods of social analysis in collaboration with domestic companies and foreign universities; and 4) developing a variety of methods of social analysis that make extensive use of programming, such as the use of the Internet.
